10 months

max is 10 months old today!!!! seriously, where has the time gone?!?!?!

this is his anywhere chair from PBK. it's an early b-day gift from mom-mom and mom-dad...he loves it:)

he is on the go and loving life:) mom-mom and mom-dad were here last week so that was fun for all.

max got a hair cut, he went all the way up the stairs looking for grandpa, went swinging at the park for the first time and in general, just loved having company:) papa and i got to go out a couple of times so that was really nice...we got to celebrate our anniversary and hit the movies!

max is talking up a storm...loves to say da-da. he is cruising around the furniture and getting more adventurous about moving from piece to piece and not hanging on. he is starting to get better at sitting down from a standing position. he continues to love the washing machine but his new fav seems to the refrigerator, especially the freezer:) he loves to help take his shirt off...such a good little helper!


he got a ballon at the grocery yesterday and really enjoyed that.

he weighed in at 23.2lbs yesterday. he is eating 3 solid meals a day. grilled cheese seems to be his fav but also loves cottage cheese. he got to try meat loaf, a bison dog and cheesy potatoes while the g-parents were here...he liked it all! this morning he had one of papa's famous pancakes with some raspberries...yum!!
i am going to try and upload some of the videos to youtube...if i get it figured out i will come back and post a link:) here you go...we'll see if this works. the video is turned and i don't know how to fix that and i suggest changing the quality from 480 to 1080...looks much better:)

uh-oh

someone (max) has learned that he can open the cabinets in the kitchen:) i found him up on his tip toes, exploring the depths of his new find!
mom-mom and mom-dad are here for a visit so max is loving that. that also means he got his hair cut yesterday and i'm calling it a success:)


he is weighing in at 23 lbs and is cutting his 7th tooth...we had a rough night and sure enough i saw a new tooth on the bottom coming in...that means another is close behind.
max has a bunny friend that lives in our yard and will occasionally come up onto the front porch...i was able to snap a pic of him this morning!

hermine

so we've been hit by tropical storm hermine...lots and lots of rain! we haven't gotten any flooding close to us but it's pretty much been raining for 2 days straight.
we've all been battling colds here. papa stayed home from work last thursday cause he wasn't feeling great.

this kind of sums up how we were all feeling on monday:)

max started with it sunday and mine came on shortly after max. sadly, i think max has had it the worst but i'm pretty sure we are all feeling better and on the upswing of things. needless to say, we just kind of spent the long weekend relaxing...i didn't even get out of my pj's on monday:)
max wants to stand all the time and is getting braver about moving from one piece of furniture to another. sometimes he doesn't think he need to hold on at all...crazy kid! he also has made friends with the washing machine...i always keep the door to the laundry room closed so whenever i open it, he crawls as fast as he can to get in there and see what the big deal is:) he is fascinated with the washer:)
